Leavin’ on a jet plane

In 16 very long days I will be leaving on a plane for London! In honor of this excitement, I’m going to do today’s post on plane safety/tips.

First, I looked in the most obvious place: the Transportation Security Administration.

There, I found this list of all the airport/airline information a traveler will need.

Then I started looking a little outside of the box. First, I thought of the last time I flew. I had to sleep in an airport because my connecting flight at midnight got cancelled, the next flight didn’t leave until 8 a.m. and there was no hotel in the airport. I also had a terrible dream last night that I missed my connecting flight in Detroit lol. So, I found these tips on how to sleep in an airport (including an airport survival pack checklist).

Along the same lines, I found some information on what to do if you miss a connecting flight.

I also found these tips on how to avoid getting sick when flying (like flu sick, not nausea sick).
