Wesley’s free…

Wesley at the Trans-Siberian Orchestra holiday concert, New Orleans Arena, Dec. 17

…and to celebrate, we went to see the Trans-Siberian Orchestra‘s holiday concert.

It was pretty awesome. There was this story part that wasn’t too great (kind of boring). Also, I didn’t realize that there was going to be such a socio-political message to the concert. There was some talk about how God would never believe that war is right and there were TVs with shuffled images of the news, specifically American politics. Sorry, but I just didn’t go there to get my daily dose of John Stewart/Fox News or to hear some weird guy tell me some “Christmas” story that has nothing to do with the Bible. I went there to hear amazing music, not to be preached to. Is this normal for them or were they jumping on the band wagon?

Either way, there was an excellent opera singer and two amazing violinists that made up for it.

And pretty lights.

Lots of pretty lights.
