Today is me and Wesley’s three-year anniversary and we’re also celebrating Christmas and Wesley completing his first semester of law school…needless to say, this weekend has been and will continue to be action-packed.
On Thursday, we went to see the Trans-Siberian Orchestra (see previous post). On Friday, we went to see The Blind Side, which was excellent by the way. This morning, we woke up and headed down to the French Quarter for lunch at the Crescent City Brewhouse (see In & Around Uptown). Then, we walked around Riverwalk down to the Aquarium of the Americas. Afterwards, we went down to the French Market where we watched some awesome street performers right by Jackson Square, then we headed home on the streetcar and got ready to eat dinner at Emeril’s Delmonico.
Dinner was amazing; we had She Crab Soup, Gnocchi, Chicken, Red Fish, and Crème Brûlée. It was amazing, especially the crème brûlée — it had something that made it spicy! Check out In & Around Uptown for my review.
