Oak Alley Plantation

On Sunday, Wesley and I went to Oak Alley Plantation for their Christmas Brunch. It was a great deal and the plantation house was amazing. It doesn’t have as scandalous a background as some of the other plantations — just ask Destrehan Plantation about the exiled Azby Destrehan — but it still had some cool historical information.

Kitten's favorite toy from Santa

I went home to Florida for Christmas. Kitten got a present from Santa that she actually liked and so did I: a digital camera and some Jack Rogers.

My cousin, Sarah, came back to Nola with me and we got a chance to hang out and do some touristy stuff on Sunday. First, we went on a Haunted History cemetery tour of St. Louis Cemetery No. 1 — it was amazing, as was our tour guide, Renee. She was really excited and she’s even personally a member of Save our Cemeteries. It was even better than the French Quarter Phantoms tour I went on before.

Next stops: Going out on Bourbon with my friends from UF when they come for the Sugarbowl on Wednesday and seeing Avatar at the Imax!
