My first bridge run

On Saturday I participated in my first charity run over a bridge: the St. Charles United Way’s 5k Bridge Run/Walk over the Hale Boggs Bridge.

The event is the longest run over the Mississippi River – and the bridge is taller than the Statue of Liberty and the Great Pyramids.

It was pretty amazing, especially the view from the top of the bridge.

I mostly walked and had some spurts of jogging – but my legs are still killing me!
