Oak Alley, part deux

Oak Alley Plantation

I took my mom, aunt and cousin to Oak Alley Plantation on Saturday. We had lunch, took the tour and generally milled about.

We learned some cool things about the plantation’s history and renovations over the years. The rows of oak trees in the front are actually at least 100 years older than the buildings themselves.

It’s also the plantation where Interview with the Vampire, one of my favorite movies, was filmed.

Then, I took them to the two-story Target on Veterans because it has an awesome escalator just for the carts!

Anyway, I found some cute slouchy boots (which I’ve been looking for since winter).
