Roadside tour of rural Ala.

I recently had to go to a small town just north of Foley, Alabama for a funeral. Since I didn’t know many people who were going to be there, Wesley and I wanted to meet up with my family before heading to the church.

But we overestimating the amount of time it would take to make the drive, so we ended up in the area about 30 minutes before my family got there.

But not letting an opportunity pass us by, we drove around town and took pictures of things you would probably only see in a rural town in Alabama.

Enjoy the slideshow; we sure enjoyed making it! (And we felt very much like “big city folk” when we pulled over on the side of the road to marvel and take pictures of a bunch of cows.
